LisaHello everyone, Happy Halloween!!! I just have a quick question. I have a 4 month old daughter with salt-wasting CAH. She just had her 4 month old check-up yesterday, and had to get 4 shots, poor baby. Today she is running a slight fever, 101.4. (Which is probably from the shots). My ped. endo. said not to worry about giving double doses of cortef until she has a fever of 103.0 or higher. My question is, how many others have ped. endos. that say the same thing? I have heard to give double doses if the fever is 101.0 or higher, but ours said only if it is 103.0 or higher. What should I do?
Oh, I have another question, I need to get a medical alert bracelet for her and I don't know what to put on it. I need some help! I have posted this question before, but when I did I had found out that our insurance was going to change. I didn't want to get her one until I knew for sure what was going on with our new insurance. So, needless to say, I have forgotten what everyone told me what to put on it, so I need your help again. PLEASE!!!!!!!! I really appreciate everyone's help, I don't know what I would do without this message board. Thank you!!!!!!
