Have a safe and happy halloween!!!  My 17 year old daughter who is on a travel softball and swimming teams asked if I thought it was time she learned how to give herself injections since she will be traveling without me sometimes, I thought it was very responsbile of her to ask but it took me back a bit to think she is and will have to be responsible for herself in times of crises if I am unable to be there, and trust me it must be well out of my control not to be at any of her competitions.  I had to leave the military becauses of this, anyway we will be seeing our endo next month and I will ask him about that but I was wondering if any parents of young adults have dealt with this issue and what you did about it?  Thanks
