I have been giving my 9 yr old daughter a little of the responsibility of remembering to take her medicine.  She gets her morning cortef out when she makes her breakfast and at bedtime it is now a part of her bedtime routine to take her vitamines, cortef, and florinef.  I always ask her, but she always answers "yes, I took my pills".  Her mid-day pill is given at school.  I thought I might need to start giving her control on her meds in this very little way.  She reminds me of her mid-day cortef on weekends.  I am trying to raise a responsible medicine taker - I do not plan on going to college with her!!!
