LouiseWow! Thank-you SO much for sharing that information - it's mind expanding! Literally. Our son is still only young, and we're only coming to understand gradually all the implications of CAH. It's great to learn ways we can gradullay teach him to be independent and safe. Without posts from experienced people like yourself we / he would really end up learning stuff the long - and hard - way.
Because the adrenal crisis stuff is so "dramatic", we sometimes feel like drama-queens if we talk about it, so often don't mention it (except to direct carers and family of course). But I think it is important to tell people who may someday need to know, and I like your low-key yet functional approach.
I think the instructions for lay people who may need to help you out sometime are also a great idea.
Thank-you again. This message-board is wonderful, and so are the people who share and help us all to learn more.
Louise.
