I hope I didn't give you a headache for nothing...if so, I apologize, because the mmol value I copied down was almost certainly NOT 17OHP.  Until you pointed it out in your post, I assumed that an mmol was an mmol was an mmol.  (You would have thought by now I'd learn the lesson that conversion factors are not as straightforward as they seem.  Didn't I make a big deal about that once?!!)

I had been on the lookout for a formula for mmol for a while, and was so thrilled when I came across this one while browsing at the Barnes and Noble. I probably couldn't find the book again, if I tried, but it was probably one on diabetes---definitely not CAH.   (Remember when I was in my blood sugar research stage?) So maybe the conversion is between mg/dl and mmol of glucose, or something like that. 

At any rate, sorry for the false lead.  I owe you a bottle of Tylenol.
