I was perusing the LOCAH Board last evening (link at the top of this page under "People") and came across something I thought you might find interesting.  Remember when you were interested in ANYTHING you could pursue re. Jack's continued oversuppression?  I had mentioned possibly looking into thyroid issues (poss. to check out low metabolism?) and you had said that was something you had thought of, as well.

Anyway, a couple of posts on the LOCAH Board, linking thyroid problems to CAH caught my eye last night, and I thought of you and Jack.  There isn't really much discussion on the subject, and you have to go quite a way back in the messages, but on 4/20/00, someone named C. George wrote in to inquire if anyone knew of a connection between CAH and either hypo- or hyper- thyroid problems.  On 04/23/00, someone named Kate responded that many LOCAH patients seemed to also suffer from thyroid issues, almost as if it was fairly common knowledge!  Come to think of it, there is a CAH adult who often posts on THIS Board, who I know also has a hypothyroid condition.  If you're interested, I'll email her and ask if it's okay that you contact her for more info. 

Again, there isn't really a whole lot of discussion on the subject, and it may not be a subject you're concerned about, anymore, but I thought it might be something to check out if you were still thinking along those lines.
