From my point of view, I don't think there's any reason to apologize for giving your opinion, just because you're a newcomer.  At one point, we all were, too, and personally, I think it's healthy for the Board that, as thinking adults, we can "agree to disagree," whatever the subject or issue. 

I thought you stated your point very well up above and used an example (the indigenous communities) to support your point of view that I would never have thought of.  It is clear to me from reading your other messages, that you also have a healthy sense of humor, and I look forward to reading more opinions from you in the future!
