I live in Manitoba, and yes, genetic testing is available! My sister and my husband's brother got married 5 yrs ago, so of course they were concerned to know if they were both CAH carriers or not (one is, one is not, BTW!). Our endo arranged for the ACTH test right in Winnipeg at the Health Sciences Center, and Manitoba Health covered the cost of the whole thing Where do you live? If your doctor won't order the tests that you need, perhaps you need a new doctor. God's blessings!
