A couple of the things that I have heard are

1. the high fevers and having to monitor stress dosages.

2. I had a fear, That some of  kids on steroids got VERY sick and there body had no immunity to fight the illness. My ped endo said that the boys were on such small doseages that I shouldn't worry.... yeah right.

3. I was told as a percasion if they did get it they would hopitalize them to keep an eye on them.

After a few stressful years of trying to avoid chicken poxs we got the vaccine. My biggest reason was that  we were moving to a remote island in the Caribbean for 6 months and I couldn't risk them getting that there.
