I posted in August with the very same concerns.  My 4 yr old daughter had difficulty sleeping , shortly after an increased dose of Cortef.  She became very whiney, cranky and clingy.  By 4 weeks after the increase, her behavior was intolerable!  I also started noticing the round face.  I called my endo and she stated these were symptoms of oversuppression, and reduced her dose.  Within 2 weeks, she was back to normal!  I thought there was something wrong with me until I shared on this board.  If your are dealing with something similar in your child, you may want to call your endo.  In my daughter's case, the Cortef had been increased in the hopes of stopping some vaginal bleeding.  It did not stop it, and my daughter was miserable.  My daughter did not even need a med change at a recent checkup in Oct.  Good luck to you and hang in there!
