I am just curious as to what has happened with others who have given birth to a CAH child.  We were informed that when our daughter is born (most likely with CAH) that our Geneticist and an Endo will have to see her.  I still have questions though.  We are delivering at a great children's hospital, so my questions are...

Is Neo-Natal care needed, or is this something that can be monitored with the baby "rooming-in" with me?

How old was your daughter when, if, she needed surgery to correct an enlarged clitoris?

Was there any extended hospitalization for your baby after they were born?  I have my kids by c-section, so I am in the hospital for 4 day.  Is that long enough to get meds regulated?

I know that there are no certainties, and that my situation will differ from any other, and also that my doctor should answer these questions.  But I was just interested in personal experiences, not statistics.
