Mine were put in the PICU for monitoring and probably IV fluids (just to be on the careful side).  I didn't want to take any chances of dehydration. I did breast fed and I felt okay even to go to the PICU every two hours. I set an alarm. After I was discharged they let me stay in the PICU in a sleeping chair. We had somewhat of a private room. They were discharged in a week. Make sure they do plasma renin test, OH17 and chem 8 blood tests before you leave. And gaining weight.
