Thanks so much for all your good advice and help. We're going to think about this a little more, as it seems from some of  your replies that the dex can still be useful if taken a week or so from now. We should have the DNA results back by then, so will know for sure how we stand.

I have recommended this site to my aunt, the one who has the daughter with CAH. They could really benefit from such a caring, helpful group of people.
