Dear Lynn,

I noticed from reading a couple of your recent posts that at least one of your CAH children is on prednisone, instead of cortef.  My son, who is 7, is also on a long acting med---in our case, dexamethasone---though he was temporarily switched to cortef for a period of about three months.  There seems to be very few on this Board who have had experience with the long-acting meds and, since you have been around this condition and different medications longer than we have (Nick was diagnosed less than a year ago), I would love to hear your opinion on the relative merits of one vs. the other. 

Any insight you have to share would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
