We have been getting it for 5 years, and I do not double her before the

shot.  A few times she has developed a slight fever after the shot and I

then triple her and give her ibuprofen.  I read in the newspaper that

although side effects are rare in adults, that children may sometimes

run a small fever.  I was glad to read that since the administering nurse

told us in the past that we wouldn't see any reaction and we subsequently

did see a small fever.
