Susan A.For me personally, Cathy and the Magic Foundation have been a life saver. Two years ago I contacted her by letter and she called me. At the time that she called I wasn't feeling well and hadn't felt well for several weeks. I had been diagnosed with CAH in my teens but the "whole enchilada" was never explained to me properly. Cathy said her son had CAH and asked if I had "stress dosed"? I didn't know what she was talking about. Can you believe this at age 39 after having been diagnosed 22 years before and having 2 crises which were passed off as meningitis? Well, needless to say, Cathy and I had many phone conversations after that and I got myself "educated" via Cathy and the Internet. I also got a new endo who immediately (at the first appointment) gave me a prescription for solucortef and said it was a miracle I had lived up to this point. Wow!! Scary stuff. Anyway, I owe a LOT to Cathy and the Magic Foundation. Someday I'd like to meet her in person (I live in Washington State and she's in Chicago).
