Someone else also suggested the possibility of a misdiagnosis. I have to say I have thought of that myself. Unfortunately, I think it probably isn't likely though .He did have some pretty high 17 OHP levels, both at birth, and then when he was about 1 year old. He was undersuppressed on the liquid Cortef for about 5 months, but I thought it was just normal doseage increases due to growth. His dr.'s assured me not to worry. We kept increasing his dose and that was how we ended up with the oversuppression. I just keep thinking maybe there is some different variation of 21 hydroxylase or some thing odd like that. Who knows, I'll continue my search but try not to worry, and hope for the best. All we can do I guess.

Glad Ryan came through it all o.k.

Say, one last question for you. You mentioned Ryan's dose was increased by .25mg. Isn't that 1/20 of a pill? How do you split them? We have only been able to adjust by 1.25mgs. I would love to know how to split more finely. Have you found a 1mg pill?

Take care.
