JanetDHappy Thanksgiving!
I too have much to be thankful for this year. Last year Olivia was sick much of November and December. I didn't yet have the diagnosis of CAH, the specialists were all still thinking she had something really bad. In December I first heard of CAH, in January I found this board, then in February we finally had a diagnosis. This year Olivia had fun on her birthday, was able to play with her big cousins, gave hugs and kisses and just has a love for life. It is amazing what 10mg of Cortef daily has done for her.
I am very thankful for this board, all of the different opinions, thoughts and ideas. You are a great group of folks who help seporate the facts from the tears and the fears. We are all stronger with the facts and know our tears and fears will be comforted. But mainly I am thankful that there is a group of people who understand what I am going through.
I also look forward to the coming year. Before next Thanksgiving I should have a new daughter.
Our God is an Awsome God!
God bless all of you and your families!
