Hi Heather,

I have a 3 1/2 year old son ,he doesn't have CAH but his 20 month old sister does.  He wakes up at night several times a week with leg pains.  This has been going on since he was 2 1/2 years old.  I have called his pediatrician about it several times and they say that it is normal growing pains and to just give him children's advil or tylenol.  They say some kids are affected more than others and he seems to get it worse than most kids his age that I know.  I hope this helps you a little, maybe your son is just going through normal growing spruts and it hurts him.  Where does he say it hurts?  My son's pain is mostly in his knees, and I often have to rub his legs until he falls back to sleep.

I hope this helps, it is nice to see it might not always be CAH caused.  Hopefully, it is just normal 2 year old growing pains.
