lisa DI've always used tablet form for my son( we live in Aust. and don't have liquid form). I've only ever had to give Jesse 2.5mg or 5 mg tablets. So in the 2.5 mg case I've got a little contrapion that splits the 5mg tablets in half. I then crush it in a pill crusher and mixed some boiled water with it using a syringe(about 1 ml) and the I syringe it into his mouth. He's always taken it really well and now even with cough medicine etc. he opens his mouth right up and takes it willingly. From what I've read on here I haven't come across anyone who doesn't give their child there tables in either 2.5mg,5 mg, 7.5 mg etc. so that you can always divide the pills evenly and give it to your child accordingly. Jesse's 17 months old and has 1/2 tablet(2.5mg) 3 times a day. He goes to the endo tomorrow so this may change. I brought the pill crusher and splitter from the chemist. From what I've read on here the pills seem alot more reliable.
I hope this helps.
