Dear Mika, Thank you so much for your response. It is important to know that a ped surgeon agrees with our decision to not have the clitoroplasty. My daughter does have a vagina. When would you recommend for her to have the surgery. She is only 7 months old. I have been hearing mixed ideas concerning this. I would prefer to have it done early so puberty won't be any more stressful than it needs to be. But if having the surgery early would make scar tissue worse than we will wait. I asked this question to the urologist we met with and he felt it varies and that the tissue is more pliable when they are young therefore leaving less scar tissue. Does this sound reasonable?
