Looking for info?Our daughter Samantha was dx at age 8.Treated with Cortef.At age 13yr,huge personality change.Dx with depression R/T Cortef use.For 5 yr,our family has dealt with her depression,mood swings,drug and aclohol use,in patient tx to no avail.Samantha died 8/21/00 from an accident.We are trying to find out if other kids are having any problems with long term use of Cortef.Is this an isolated incident,or are other families having problems in adolescence?Are there any studies going on R/T to this?Thanks.
