I kept Olivia home from day care today because of a cold.  She wasn't runny a fever, but when I got her up the a.m. she was real crabby and had lots of gunk coming out of her nose.  It looks like she will be able to go tomorrow -- which is good because I am exhausted, it will be a break to go back to work.

Now some of you might be wondering why this is so important to me.  Well, this is the first time Olivia has been sick since she was diagnosed the end of February.  Prior to that, every time she was sick I had the best baby you would ever want.  She would sit on my lap, take 2 naps of 2-3 hours, not be crabby, etc.  Though a cold like she had this weekend and today would have kept us home a week and she would have been on antibiotics. Well, what was really going on was that she was lethargic!  It scares me to death when I think about it, so I don't.  But as exhausted as I am, I am very happy that Olivia behaved like all of the other kids do when they are sick -- crabby!
