This might sound a little strange, but I have noticed that my son's urine smells very strong and different, almost acidic or something, when he hasn't been drinking enough water. I have always wondered if he was excreting too high of a percentage of salt per water and that changed the smell. When he is well hydrated the smell goes away. He is close to being potty trained and I am not sure what I will do when that hydration clue goes away for me.
