I do believe that I read somewhere that the thought was that it is the excess testostorone and androgens that cause not only the virilization to the genitalia, but also adds to the imprinting of masculinization on the brain via what is commonly called a testostorone bath. I may be wrong, and if anyone else out there has better information on this please jump in now. If this is the case, I would think that it would help so many of the girls who have suffered so greatly from the surgeries poking and proding and endless examinations. I did do a little research when my husband and I were considering having another child and I remember that it was a controversial subject. But, if the dex could assist in minimizing the "testostorone bath", would it not stand to reason that it would help in that area also? I will try to recall, or find another article referring to this subject. If I do, I will post again.
