Kathe, I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what it must be like to lose a child and then have to go on with life as if everything is all right. I have a severe salt wasting son who is 5 years old. He has been on Cortef for most of his life. We have experienced his mood swings, severe anxiety, night mares and lethargy. Almost all of that was during the time that he was found to be under suppressed. How were your daughter's OHP levels in relation to her mood swings and depression? Did her doctor ever suggest that any of this could be related to her meds? I do know that anxiety and depression have been talked about a lot on Dannette's board and is not uncommon for some of the people with CAH. I would love to talk with you about this further.
