EileenHi everyone. I am not sure if this is the same message board I was involved in since my old computer blew up, but I think it is. I recognize Danny's name. So now that we are back online, I can back to business.
My name is Eileen. I have a 9 year old daughter, Amanda. She is a salt waster. She is currently taking Lupron also. All in all, she is doing ok. Amanda had surgery in April. She had been suffering from persistent bladder infections. It was found that her urethral opening, created during her first surgery at 8 months had shifted into her vagina and was causing a backwash of urine to remain. They corrected this, constructed a new opening, widened her vagina. The only remaining problem, is the chronic bedwetting that she has been experiencing for a few years now. Our urologist was doubtful that this surgery would correct that problem, and it didn't. The poor thing wets her bed every night. I have tried the alarm clock thing, didn't work. We tried a medication, didn't work. So this is what we are tackling now.
I'm glad to get back in the loop again. I also have 2 sons, 15, and 12, and am the owner(along with my hubbie) of a private ambulance company.
Take care all of you,
Eileen
