Hi Eileen... I can relate my daughter is now 17.  She had this problem all her life as well, very very frustrating at times for all concerned.  My daughter had her problem corrected the first time at 7 and finally corrected when she was 15 after two very serious kidney infections.  But all is well now, no more day and night protection. No more embaressing moments.  If you can afford it use the Senerity protection they are small and hold alot!!!  My daughter allways played every sport every season and I allways sent an extra small garbage bag so if she needed to change with the other players or at other peoples houses she could put her protection in it and dispose of it at home.  Adults are usually understanding but kids can be harsh when they don't.  So good luck!!
