Lynn-I know what your son is going through.  I was just like him as a kid.  I do not have CAH (just a carrier).  But I was so easily scared and would then cry out of embarassment.  And I had 3 siblings who of course exxagerated the problem!  One problem I did have was a hearing problem.  So of course I never had a warning with a potential boo or an unexpected loud noise.  I know you once mentioned Ryan might have a hearing problem.  Could this be related?  By the way, my hearing is fine now (it was sinuses, etc.) and I still scare easily!  And my kids know it!  Best to turn it into a humorous situation whenever possible.
