Ginny got sick yesterday morning. I was surprised when the doctor had us give her the shot without trying the phenergan first. She was still throwing up an hour later so we called them and they OK'd the phenergan. She perked up after that.

I agree with Susan, you shouldn't wait that long for the shot. If the vomiting hasn't stopped after the first Cortef (pill), you should either head to the phenergan or the shot.
