It is my understanding that the removal of wisdom teeth is considered oral surgery. From the information my ped endo gave me, with any oral surgery, the doctor (and patient/parent) should be contacting the the endo to find out how to proceed. A normal visit to the dentist (cleaning, check-up) in most cases should not require a stress dose. Though as with all things, this will vary widely based on the child.
