Welcome!  After the birth of my daughter I got shingles but didn't know at the time what it was.  It lasted a couple of weeks and was extremely painful and itchy.  Then my daughter came down with chicken pox, ugh!  I looked up shingles on the internet and they can be triggered anytime after you've had chicken pox.  They say stress, illness or for no apparent reason they can appear. I assume mine was caused by the stress of giving birth and trying to understand my daughter's CAH.  Good luck with your son!
