I am sorry to hear that your daughter is suffering without much relief!  We live in Temperance on the Ohio/Michigan border.  I am not sure how old your daughter is and if she would need an endo or a ped endo.  There is an exellent ped. endo named William Dagnan (spelling?)  at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.  If they can't help you, maybe they can refer you to someone who can.  Also, they have excellent endocrinology clinics (adult and ped) at the University of Michigan.  We see Dr. Hopwood and are changing to Dr. Vasquez there.  They are really sharp!  I think U of M is fairly close to you.  We drive just under an hour to go there and it is worth it.  A word of warning though, it takes several months to get an appointment so talk to them now if you are interested. 

Also, Herb, have you or your daughter checked out the LOCAH website.  You both may be able to find some good info there too.
