I know.....that's what I'm afraid of!!!! I really wanted her to be over and done with it before she hit the preteen/teen/adult years...I've known too many people who got HORRENDOUS cases of "the pox" in the later years. AND...I'm one of those weird people who is skeptical of the vaccine. Vaccines, in general, scare me.....(darn Internet!...making all this information available!!...I like the 'ignorance is bliss' way of life!!). Plus, I know if a few kids who got chicken pox 2 to 3 years after the vaccine... one of which was a horrible case. My kids have had all the required shots... but the chicken pox vaccine wasn't required at the time. One of my daughters has already had chicken pox....it's Christina (the CAH one!) that I worry about. Thanks for your input, Deb and karen.....yet another time on this board that I can think, "whew....at least I'm not alone in this!!"
