Beth, my first child was conceived via invetro fertilization. One of the most expensive parts was the Lupron. We were lucky enough to have insurance that covered 80% of what was "reasonable and customary". It breaks my heart to think that there are some people out there who's insurance doesn't cover such a proceedure. I have met several couples who were paying for it out of their own pocket. I went through Yale New Haven Hospital and when I achieved success, they allowed me to donate my remaining unopened meds to the clinic. There are some couples that can't even afford this special proceedure and therefore may never know the joy of giving birth to a child of their own. This could make all the difference in the world to them. You are a very special and caring person to think about others even during your coping with all you have on your plate. This is truly what the holiday spirit is about and you encompas all that that means by your simple jesture. Just imagine that the life you touch by donating your Lupron may end up creating a new life of it's own. How awesome is that?! God bless you and your family during the holidays and always.LynnT
