Just went to our ped for reg. check up. I was pretty determined to ask some ques. that I've prepared while reading through all the posts that may apply to my little 8months old girl. She is doing great, but remember how I was so frustrated about alot of things that our ped. couldn't  answer. Well, one thing I was concerned was that he didn't perform a genital check, which he did this time, since I mentioned and as to the type of CAH she has it's a simple virilizing form. I also asked to have an inject. solu-cortef incase of an emergency and he assured me that she wouldn't have an adrenal crisis. Well, I am confused once again, as the doctor kept mentioning how she is in good control and it's prob. a mild case and a simple virilzing form, the FACT is, she is still on 10mg of cortef and also taking florinef as does most saltwasting severe type, so what difference is there?

can anyone explain this to me? ^^
