A little scare...but only a stitch

We had a little bit of a scare Wed night!  My 4 yr old sat up in the tub screaming for me to come look.  There was a "black something" right by the vaginal opening.  Upon close inspection I really thought it was a worm or something!  I was trying not to get hysterical and soothe my daughter's fright.  Finally, after much looking, my husband and I realized it was a suture!  She had surgery over 2 years ago, so we did not expect this suture to pop out of nowhere.  There was no evidence of anything being there.  However, she has had vaginal bleeding for 10 months, and it has been unexplained after many tests.  We still do not know if the suture buried in the skin has been the cause of the bleeding.  Luckily, our endocronologist was home that night, and we brought her in the AM, and the endo took out the sutures!  I just feel so badly that our daughter has to go through such experiences.  She always rebounds quickly though.  We still have further tests to do anyways; a hematology appt in Jan and possibly another LHRH stim test.  She has had high estrogen but with no symptoms of precocious puberty.  She also had some abnormal blood clotting levels.  Will this ever end?  Anyways, thanks for letting me vent.  I truly wish all of you peace in this holiday season! I am truly grateful for having all of you for support and encouragement!
