         I know excactly what you are going through. My husbands family is the same way. And even some people in my own family are this way. It drives me crazy. They also think i over react if my daughter is ill. On Friday she suddenly came down with a fever and the doctors could not tell me why she was sick. Well by Sunday afternoon we found out it was caused by a UTI. My inlaws could not understand why we did not want to go over. When i told them she had been running a fever since Friday they told me it was because she was teething. They are so lax when it comes to this poor child. I don't care how old my daughter is if she is ill you can bet i would do the same thing you did.  I have to learn to ignore the idiotic things  they say. Maybe some day it will click and they will know excactly what we as parents have to deal with as parents of CAH children.
