My two cents in too. No, you are not overreacting. I am one of those whose CAH child died (my 3 year-old twin daughter 12 days before her 4th birthday in June 1999). There is a lady who reads this board whose 21 year-old CAH son died (believe in March 2000) - he had even been taken to the doctor 2 hours before, doctor believed just a viral, then he quit breathing when back home (believe it was pneumonia). The Addison's board (another adrenal insufficiency condition) had 3 adults die on their board about one year ago. Overreacting when an adrenal insufficient person has ANY fever or vomits just once ... it's impossible to "over" react - we are just doing our job.Anne
