Julia, I have a SON with CAH so I can't offer any advice for the yeast infection/labia question, but I do know that diarrhea is diarrha whether it is caused by a virus, flu or medication. It may cause her to expell some of her meds and then her levels will be off. Also, it is one of the main causes of dehydration in the children with severe salt wasting CAH. The electrolites can be thrown way out of whack by just ONE vomit or diarrhea and they can go into shock quickly. A lot of parents on the board have been told by their ped endos that a fever over 100 -101% should be triple dosed. Add on the infection and your daughter's body is doing a whole lot of work trying to send the cortisol to fight off the infection. I would call my ped endo immediately and ask for their advice. This is something that can turn very serious rather quickly. I don't mean to alarm you, but it is better to be safe than sorry. I'm so glad you were able to have a good holiday.
