LaurelHi everyone,
I just got test results (levels) back for my 21 month old salt-wasting daughter, her ped endo said her results showed possible over-suppression (both 17 ohp and androstenedione were very low) but he said he is not changing her doseage amount because she grew 1 1/2 inches in the last 3 months. Can it be that she is indeed over-suppressed and still growing well? She gained 1 1/2 pounds in the last 3 months too. She is following a curve and has stayed at the 90-95 percentile for weight and height since she was born. She doesn't really seem to have any of the symptoms of over-suppression but I am just worried that she is taking too much medicine. She is taking 2 mgs. 3 times a day. She weighs 30 pounds and is 35inches tall. Any input would help. I just thought if you were over-suppressed you gained a lot of weight and didn't grow at all. Thanks in advance.
