My salt-wasting daughter is three and a half, with the same problem: she is wet EVERY morning, and often right through, even though she has been trained during the day since she was under 2. At our last endo appointment (early Dec), I asked my endo about switching her florinef from 5pm to 9 am, because I had read here on the board that this might help; my endo said point blank that there is no correlation, but said to go ahead and try it. There has been no change since we give her the florinef in the morning. I think I remember someone else posting a long time ago, about a connection between bed wetting and UTI's, or some abnormality with the urethra/ ureters (because of the CAH or surgery, I assume) etc, but my daughter does not have trouble with infections, and since I took dex while pregnant with her, does not have any problems with her genitals or urinary tract (and hence, has not/ will not have any surgeries). Also, (as I understand it) our kids should NOT be losing extra fluid if they are well controlled - their condition facilitates the loss of extra salt along with their normal fluid output, though. As far as the bed-wetting goes, I'm stumped too. I've started limiting the drinks that she gets before bed (nothing after one hour before bed, I'd read), and she does seem a bit less "soggy" in the morning, but is still far from dry. If you find out anything amazing about this, please let me know, too! Hope you find an answer - happy New Year!Wendy-Lee
