It is wonderful to see a protocol work so smoothly and your experience shows the importance of action and following your instincts about your child, even though logic says,'hydrocortisone cannot be the problem and she does have glucose in her system.  Good job and thanks for sharing it with us.

I just exercised to soon after breakfast and got the inevitable stitch.  Maybe at a certain temperature the body just shuts down all none essential jobs and concentrates on the job at hand like fighting an infection.  This would mean the intestine would recieve a greatly reduced blood flow and not absorbing the tablets given earlier fast enough would result.  The adrenal cortex gets its blood flow boost but no one is home.  Given the pain in my side, just thinking aloud.
