Re: Infants on meds

My daughter was not diagnosed until she was about 8 mo. old, but they put her straight on to pills--they said they don't do the liquid kind for the babies.  We just crushed them--they told us to try mixing it in water or any kind of drink to give it to her.  I am a nursing mom though, so she lost most of the pill that way.  So, I stuck it on a small spoon with some sort of baby food and she did great!  Now, at 11 months, I crush it and she will eat it straight off my finger!  And my husband has luck putting the half-pill in her mouth with water to wash it down--already she is swallowing them like it is no big deal!
