Lisa, Lee is correct. We went through Dr. New's office in New York and they have their own system in house. There is a special "sequencer" that can identify the specific strain of CAH that your sister may or may not carry. The fee is $600 and Ann Carlson is the head geneticist in charge of running the DNA tests. I have heard that some insurance companies have covered the tests for some people but it would depend on the individual company AND if there is an immediate health risk. I would have your sister call her insurance company and see if she can get pre-approval of the testing. Then she can call Ann Carlson who said that you can have the blood sent through a special carrier overnight and she wouldn't have to make the trip all the way to New York. I wish you the best of luck.
