Hi Becki - I just found this board this AM...my son is CAH - salt loosing.  When he was a baby...we used the liquid cortef....but they discontinued that awhile back.  Since he was salt loosing we also had to add salt to his formula.  After that, we put tablet in "oral syringe" and pull a little water in it to dissolve.  It dissolves in no time.  He takes them three times a day now...so I fix all three in the morning.  The first one has his florinef in it....the other two just cortef pills.  He says they taste "nasty"...so he always takes a drink of something after we give them to him.
