Thank you so much for responding.  Your answer was exactly what we wanted and needed to hear.  Due to other circumstances/difficulties, we will be using either artificial insemination or in-vitro fertilization, so I will be able to start the Dex on the first day of the pregnancy.  It is probably the only 'good thing' that has come out of our other problems.

I am so sorry about your daughter.  I cannot even imagine you pain.  This site has really made me aware of what can possibly lie ahead for us, and i'm sure you can understand that in some ways, especially for someone who has never had a child, it can be quite frightening and intimidating.  There are definitely days when I wonder if we should proceed, and then others when i'm sure we should.

It seems that there is much more discussion about the effects of CAH on girls, but having two boys, can you share a little of what its like for them.  What are there special needs?
