Heather, I agree with the others and would get a second opinion. You say her levels are abnormal, she can have normal levels with treatment. This is reason enough to be on replacement hormones. It's very easy to administer in pill form. I'm so glad you found this board. There is so much to learn from everyone here. Truly a blessing for my daughter and I. Good luck! Julia
