Laura KWe were also very comfortable with our pediatric endo - until I realized I knew more about CAH than she did after doing a week of research at the local medical library. This is a fairly well understood condition, and very manageable if you have a knowledgeable doctor. Do research and ask questions. If your doctor can't answer them, find another doctor. Ask to see the results of Georgia's tests and keep a log of the results over time.
We are very pleased with our current pediatric endo, but I still keep careful track of blood work and bone age results. Our doctor knows that I'm informed and we discuss treatment decisions based in large part on my observations. Your daughter's case seems to be mild. You'll see it referred to as nonclassical (NC) or late-onset (LO). Don't let anyone tell you that children with mild cases can't have adrenal crisis. They can, and you will never forgive yourself if you aren't prepared.
