renamy son, three years old passed away Saturday, January 13th 2001. I picked him up from school Friday at 7pm, he asked for pizza. We stopped for pizza then he said, "Mommy, I want to boo boo at home" I said, "ok sweetie, we'll be there in just a second" "Hurry Mommy" he says. So I say hold it sweetie, we're almost there. When we get there he's more concerned with the pizza than he is with using the restroom. So, I say, I just drove like a bat out of hell so that I could get you here to use the restroom, so go use it. After a few minutes he yells, "mommy I'm finished" I go in the wipe his but and he's stripped himself naked. I asked why he took his clothes off and chuckle put them back on. He put some of them back on and sat down to eat his pizza.
He asked to sleep with me that night and I said ok. He woke btwn 12 and 12:30 vomiting. He was up about every half hour to fourty five minutes after that. My husband and I thought it was the pizza or some kind of bug. He didn't eat much breakfast but he did eat a little chicken for lunch. He started runnining off again and then he couldn't make it to the restroom. I thought He was tired after having been up all night so I put on of his sisters diapers on him and told him to take a nap and don't worry about it. When I went in to change him he had messed himself again. I changed him. I said, "stand up a minute TJ while I change the bed". He did for a second, then he layed down on the floor. I change the bed, picked him up and layed him down on the bed. My husband found him an hour later, he wasn't breathing. I screamed, called 911 and he was rushed to the hospital. He died there. I am numb. The autopsy was inconclusive. They are looking now for some kind of viral bacteria that may have affected his heart. It happened so fast. I don't know if it was CAH related, sickled cell related or something that he caught. What I do know is that I was told, he could live a long time with this desease. Can someone help me? does any of these systoms sound familiar to any one?
